The highlight was the expansive spa area, featuring a variety of onsen and wellness treatments. I indulged in a soothing massage that helped relieve the stresses of business travel. The accommodations were comfortable, with cozy bathrobes and all the essentials provided. I particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, offering an array of both Japanese and Western dishes that catered to every palate. The swimming pool, with its stunning view of Tsutenkaku, was a perfect place to unwind after a long day. It’s really good that guests can access spa facilities even after check-out, allowing for a leisurely visit before leaving.
Staff refused to hold bags.

Just a walk down to Okonomiyaki Chitose, where you can have lunch. Nipponbashi was located in the neighborhood of the hotel. I loved the location...

I can't believe how many stairs I had to climb just to get to the lobby. Seriously, if you've got luggage, you're in for a workout! Plus, they keep you on a tight schedule with that early checkout-definitely not my idea of a relaxing stay.

Spa World offered a amazing experience with its vast selection of themed baths, particularly the luxurious and clean Finnish sauna, which is one of the best outside Finland. The atmosphere was serene, and the affordable entry fee of 1200¥ allowed access to both spa and swimming facilities. Excellent for unwinding after a busy work schedule, it is ideally located for business travelers and tourists alike. ,
The process of entering the facility and purchasing tickets could be confusing.

I loved the value for money here, as the room exceeded my expectations in size and comfort. The location is fantastic, super close to train stations, and the staff were very helpful, even with my limited Japanese.
Food for breakfast could use more local specialties.

I loved the cleanliness and spaciousness of the facilities! The location is super convenient, just a short walk from subway and JR lines. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast with a great mix of Japanese and Western dishes. Plus, the onsen baths were a perfect way to relax after a long day exploring.
But man, all those stairs were a killer, especially with luggage! The whole QR code wristband thing felt so impersonal and annoying. And don’t even get me started on how strict they are about additional costs—you can't just enjoy the spa without shelling out extra. it was a mixed bag for me.

review: The spa experience at Spa World was quite enjoyable, with a mix of indoor and outdoor pools that cater to various needs. The themed saunas were interesting but could be better if they didn't play television shows. The buffet was plentiful yet repetitive after a few days. Convenient location near public transport, but prepare to navigate through some confusing layouts. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-09-15}

I had a fantastic stay at Spa World, with multiple onsens that exceeded my expectations. The spacious facility offered a comfortable room, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and air quality. The buffet breakfast featured a good mix of Japanese and Western dishes served without a time limit, making it a perfect start to my day. The self-service check-in was convenient, allowing me to minimize my interactions while still enjoying the wonderful amenities.
Cash-only for late-night onsen entry was frustrating! 😕.
